Darrell W. Gunter is a seasoned executive and digital transformation leader with over 35 years of experience guiding organizations through the complexities of the information economy. As the Managing Director of Gunter Media Group and Chief Commercial Officer of Gadget Software’s TopicLake Insights, Darrell stands at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence, semantic search, and commercialization strategies.
His career is defined by a track record of launching disruptive technologies and driving exponential revenue growth. As Senior Vice President, Americas at Elsevier, Darrell led the digital transformation of the print portfolio into the multi-million digital business, launching industry-standard platforms including ScienceDirect and Scopus. Previously, at Collexis Holdings, Inc., he served as EVP/CMO, where he spearheaded a strategy that raised $18 million in capital and launched pioneering semantic networks like BiomedExperts.com, positioning the company for its acquisition by Elsevier. His leadership roots were established at Dow Jones Financial News Services, where he managed a $100 million sales budget as National Sales Director.
