Juan Denzer is the Engineering and Computer Science Librarian at Syracuse University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Binghamton University and a Master of Library Science from the University at Buffalo. Juan currently serves on the AI Committee for Syracuse University Libraries, where he advises on AI technology for library services. His books include Terrific Makerspace Projects: A Practical Guide for Librarians and Digital Collections and Exhibits. He recently spoke on the panel “Weathering the AI Storm: Preparing Researchers for the Future of AI” at ACRL 2025. In addition, he contributed to the ALA Choice 360 mini-course AI Literacy Essentials for Academic Libraries with a section entitled “Evaluating AI Resources for Scholarly and Library Workflows.”
