Matthew has 6 years’ experience in academic publishing, and has been working for over a decade in various library settings. He currently serves as on the NASIG Standards Committee, NISO Content Platform Migration Working Group, and SNSI University Relations Group. He also holds a part-time position as a reference and instruction librarian at Brookdale Community College. 

Matthew earned his Master’s in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University in 2010.  His publications are “Walk This Way: Online Content Platform Migration Experiences and Collaboration,” “Evidence-Based Acquisition: A Real Life Account of Managing the Program Within The Orbis Cascade Alliance,” and “MARC Metamorphosis: Transforming the Way You Look at E-Book Records.” His interests are metadata, standards, reference, and user experience.
