Michelle Lee is a NISO Plus 2021 Scholarship winner and recently started as a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Clayton State University in Georgia. She’s previously worked as a Limited Term Reference and Instruction Librarian at Kennesaw State University, and a Library Assistant at Georgia State University. Her research interests include information literacy, resource sharing, DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), outreach and engagement with students, peer mentoring within librarianship, and accessibility. She’s researched and published on improving accessibility in interlibrary loan and on how peer mentoring can benefit early-career librarians of color. Michelle is interested in collaborating with other information professionals to expand library knowledge and include more underrepresented voices in the profession.
