Kylie Yui Dan is an Astronomy PhD student at the University of Maryland studying the role of supermassive black holes in the evolution of galaxies. They have a B.S. in Physics with minors in Astronomy and Japanese from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and they were awarded a Fulbright Fellowship in 2022. Outside of research, Kylie is an advocate for open science and STEM public outreach; they were a part of PREreview’s first cohort of Champions in 2024.
